CCUMC absolutely LOVES summer camp! It's an awesome time for students to meet new friends, experience incredible activities, and most of all- grow in their faith in Christ.

Each summer, CCUMC partners with Impact 2818 and Christian Athletic Camp to bring our students high-quality camp experiences. While there are many options for campers to choose from, CCUMC recommends the following weeks of camp for our campers:

Elementary Mini Camp at Camp Lakewood [K-2nd Grade]
July 24-26, 2011; Camp Code L1071, Cost $195.00
Directors: C. Shappell and K. Bixel
Younger campers can ease into camping ministry with this 3 day camp. They'll participate in fun activities and crafts, learn some amazing Bible stories, and experience awesome camp features like the zipline, climbing wall, boat rides, swimming, and more. Most of all, they'll discover God's love for them.

Elementary Impact Camp at Camp Lakewood [3rd-5th Grade]
June 19-24, 2011; Camp Code L3021, Cost $395.00
Directors: S. Richards and T. Findlay
Elementary campers will have a blast as they jump into a full week at camp, soaring down the zipline, flying off the blob, conquering the rock wall, tubing, and much more! They'll walk away from the week knowing that they have an awesome God who created them and loves them, no matter what.

Junior High Camp at Camp Adventure [6th-8th Grade]
July 24-29, 2011; Camp Code A4071, Cost $395.00
Directors: A. Helman, A. Hershey, J. Rensberger
This full-week camp experience is an action packed adventure, including swimming, blobbing, paintball, and High Ropes. Even better than all that action is an amazing spiritual program including small groups, modern worship, and opportunities to ask the tough questions about God.

Junior/Senior High Camp at Christian Athletic Camp [7th-12th Grade]
CAC is a unique sports themed camp for students looking to grow in their faith as well as their athletic ability. Students will receive both individual sports training as well as team training and competition, and most of all, will come together for devotions, worship, and growth as a Christian community.


Because of our commitment to camping ministry, CCUMC offers every camper a scholarship for half the cost of camp, up to $150.00. We want to make sure that every student who wants to go to camp is able to go, and other scholarships are available for financial need situations. Please call the Church office to receive your scholarship code prior to registering for camp.
