The April Mission Project is Beds & Britches, Etc. / B.A.B.E.'s. This mission is to provide incentives for pregnant women and families to consistently participate in programs and services provided in Whitley County that benefit the health and well being of infants and young children to ensure that the children born in Whitley County are given the best possible start in life. Items that are most needed for our families are: diapers, wipes, pull-ups, baby bath items, new clothing from birth - 5T, sippy cups, bottles, socks, boy & girl underwear, and larger items like strollers, high chairs, swings, cribs & matresses.
The Center is our May Mission of the Month. The mission of The Center for Whitley County Youth is to promote youth development through service, outreach and collaboration. We provide after-school and weekend programs and facility space for other youth organizations, while partnering on important initiaties to support our young people. The Center has become a hub for the next generation of leaders, families, citizens and the workforce.
