What is your favorite movie?
Oh gosh, I love movies, so this is hard. I have this weird obsession with sports movies- The Sandlot, Mighty Ducks, Field of Dreams- they're all so good. I'm a big fan of Almost Famous, too, and Breakfast at Tiffany's. And don't get me started on the Jaws trilogy [I know there are four of them, but let's be honest, Jaws 3 doesn't really count; it's pretty terrible].

What's one thing people don’t know about you?
I have a dog named Cleo, who I sometimes affectionately call "Dogzilla." She's a mix between a beagle, corgi, and terrier, so it's basically like harnessing all of the youth group's energy and putting it inside of a 30-pound furball with legs.

What's one verse has made an impact in your life?
Exodus 14:14- I've got it sitting here on my desk! It says, "The Lord will fight for us- you need only to be still." We'll face a lot of battles in life- some will be huge, others not so much, but it's so important to know that, regardless of what we face, God's there.

Where was your first job?
I worked at an ice cream place in Elkhart called Flavor Freeze- I was 14, so they didnt even pay me minimum wage. I made like, $4.25/hr, but I loved it.

What exactly are PBTFTYG Bars?
PBTFTYG Bars [PBTBs for short] are a legend in our Youth Ministry. They're a cookie bar that's basically loaded with all sorts of wonderful things, and they happen to be the youth group's favorite. PBTFTYG stands for "Please Bake These For The Youth Group." You can get the recipe here. Yummo!
