Adult Sunday School Classes

9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
One of our strongest and most active programs at Columbia City UMC is our Sunday School program. With over fifteen different classes meeting every Sunday morning from 9:45-10:45, there's something for everyone.  Our adult classes are listed below. All of our classes are open, too, so feel free to stop by!
Serendipity Group
 This group of Seniors 60+ likes to have fun as they gather and discuss how the Bible relates to their lives.  They meet in the Asbury Room, lower level.
Seekers This versatile class meets in the Samaria Room and explores current faith issues and uses a variety of Bible study materials on how to live a distinctive Christian lifestyle.  Age ranges 34 - 60.
Flock Class
 This mature and engaging class of 60+ yr old Christians meet in the Galilee Room and uses exciting material based on social concerns and the Bible and covers a range of topics.
Vital Pursuits
 This group of women meets to discuss contemporary issues and how their daily lives are affected by faith.  They meet in the library.
Discuss and Discover
 This class of middle age adults and parents of young families meets in the Shiloh Room to study basic faith issues and the Bible's relevance to their lives and families.
Prime Time Players
 Meeting in the Hebron Room, this group of 50's and 60's discuss life, faith, and God using a variety of topics from many points of view.
New Beginnings
 This 40's - 60's class uses a variety of study material which brings the relevance and application of the Bible into their daily lives.  This class meets in the Jericho Room.
Footprints This class is designed for young adults (age 25 - 40) with or without family, striving for God's directions in day-to-day life.  They study relevant topics and incorporate service projects too.  They meet in the Nazareth Room.
Bridges This group bridges generations and ideas of those new to their faith, as well as those who have been in the church for some time.  It is designed to incorporate new Christians as well as those new to the church into a weekly group study.  They meet in the Albright Room, lower level.
